Re: ALL MY DESIGNS ARE GONE!!!

I'm literally missing dozens of levels and 1000's of designs that I put an incredible amount of time and effort into creating. This is complete BS. I assume this was a move to clean-up the database but to just remove my hard work is absolutely infuriating. I'm done with this game.

FC is practically unplayable

If you're not going to support this game any longer, please release FC1 to the public domain and let the community support it.

Re: New Secret Usergroup: Pink Names

I'm all for chains, I'm not sure how I feel about magnets and moving platforms just yet. I guess I'll reserve judgment for now.
I think gears would be a welcome addition. I realize it's a tad late for me to be offering input though.

Re: New Secret Usergroup: Pink Names

It's just that the native level building tools kinda suck.
I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I lose sleep over crooked lines.

I'd also love the ability to use FCML for solving levels.

Re: New Secret Usergroup: Pink Names

My question is will sk8 or inXile be providing us with an FCML editor in the new version?
I don't relish the thought of going back to making levels the old fashioned way.

Re: New Secret Usergroup: Pink Names

I'm not exactly sure how I feel about this myself but it might be worth considering forcing designers to solve their own levels before posting.
At the very least have a tested category.

Re: New Release: Beta

Part of the problem with the current rating system aside from the fact that a single person can vote my level into oblivion is that if I spend an hour creating a contraption to solve an extremely difficult level, no one will ever see it.

Re: New Release: Beta

I don't think we need in-game mods. If the design is that bad it will be voted into oblivion anyway.

Re: New Release: Beta

NO piece count increase. (Maybe if you dont just stack them on top of each other)

My reasoning behind this is to have the ability to create more complex levels, not to make my catapults more powerful.
Perhaps maintaining a separate count for level objects and design objects would be a viable option.

Re: New Release: Beta

I hope it has a better ranking system.
Perhaps the option to filter levels by day, week, month, year, or all time.

I'd also like to see the allowed number of pieces increase, and the demise of the black hole bug.

I may not have that many posts but I've been a member for over a year and have nearly 1000 solves under my belt.

Re: Viewing other contraptions

Also, the drop down menus are obscured by the game area. I had to guess which menu item to choose to get to the forum.
I'm wondering if this is due to the Linux implementation of Flash, in which case I guess I'm SOL.

Re: Viewing other contraptions

After adding qa. it does load the level, but then tells me I need to pay first even though it shows me as logged in.
