The rules of this game are pretty simple.
First, solve the level the person above you posted.
Then, preform a small edit to the previous level, save it and post it for the next person to solve.
To keep this game from getting tedious, try to maintain the balance of the level... i.e. don't just keep adding obstacles. Make something harder and something easier.
-------------------
Alright. Lets make a couple more rules.
1) Only one goal item.
2) The goal size doesn't have do be gigantic, and the levels don't have to be sprawling. EAL should be mid sized and able to be solved in ~20-30 minutes of work.
3) The edit should reflect a couple of changes, but should distinctly reflect the previous level.
(Note: this requires that you have paid the small $10 "support-game-development-and-get-features" charge)
To edit a level, in the url change levelId to editId (I think the command is case sensitive).
For example, if the url was
- Code: Select all
http://FantasticContraption.com/?levelId=100
- Code: Select all
http://FantasticContraption.com/?editId=100
If nobody can solve the previous level for a day, just revert to the last solvable change.
If multiple people reply to the same post, use the first reply as the starting point.
I hope that makes sense!
The first level will be simple
http://FantasticContraption.com/?levelId=475
(so the url to edit this level will be http://FantasticContraption.com/?editId=475 )
Remember, each post must contain a link to the solution as well as a link to the new level for the next person to solve.
:D :D :D
