I did a Boomerang on U-Turn in 9 Pieces.

Ok now for the kinda part.
I used Philnorv's 3 piece solution and added a ramp to achieve the Boomerang. So I will gladly share this award with him.
I take that back. Make that 6 Pieces.

This is a modified version of Mtdewd's Boomerang. I removed the upper cart and changed the lower cart.
Edit.....Im an idiot....I just realized that a Boomerang and clean solution isnt possible

I missed that in your original post. The only problem with your definition is that are so few levels that are possible, yet interesting to clean up. I just assumed that you were using the definitions from the original challenge threads.
The term "clean" from the Clean challenge thread meant to remove all FC pieces from the field. That thread produced "clean" or "clean champion" solutions. A subset of posts on that thread dealt with cleaning up the environment and I had alot of fun on that thread coming up with solutions to clean up the environment.

My solutions posted above illustrate what I don't like about "simplest" threads. There is no functional difference between the three solutions, but only one is the "simplest". On threads like this, you always end up with people who do no work on their own to come up with a solution to a level. They simply take apart other people's solutions and see if they can throw away a piece. I wish that each solution was "read-only" such that you could not edit someone else's solution and then save it.

If this were true, then I wouidn't have posted my rant.
There have been many instances of collaboration on various threads around here. I just don't see much of it when it comes to the simplest threads. Here's what I've seen on the "simplest" threads:
- Some posters never contribute anything original, they only modify someone else's designs.
- It's clear that people ARE trying to beat others with the OP's design.
- True collaborations share credit. Around here only the final design is recognized.
It's probably a minor point, but I have never put up with people that copy someone else's work or take credit for someone else's work.
