I was working on something like that yesterday, although with a ramp, not a catapult:

Did not ever get anything to clean up more than a couple pieces to the left.

Nice, but can you leave in perfectly in the middle of the goal?

clean champion Down Under
http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=512287

The crazy moon gravity wouldn't let me do it w/o adding a piece to the ball. At one point I did have it in there for a minute or two before it rolled out though. Also takes advantage of breaking chains feature/glitch.

Here's two more with balls that will eventually roll out of the goal, but it should take a little while at least.

Roll Away clean champ

Mind the Gap clean champ
http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=512918

And here's one with a square piece, so much easier!

Full Up clean champ

It's not a champion, but I got a clean Junkyard without glitching.

I had a version of this FC that left only two blocks, but on subsequent replays it left four blocks. You got to hate those temporary solutions.

Finally got it:

thanks to EddieMontage post. http://fantasticcontraption.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=571

I had the part on top originally was a pre- or post-sweeper to get the ones the big one missed, but I needed it to stay on top for the weight.

Nicely done. If I had ever gotten all of the blocks out of the ditch, I would have waited a long time to see if the sweeper would eventually climb out.

I've played around with some catapults for Around the Bend. I haven't gotten anything to come close to the balls up on top. Are there any other levels that haven't been cleaned?

Haven't been paying attention. Living mostly in Green Champion land the last week.

Here is a "clean Champion" wall one with no catapult. It is a bit silly but it works.

A clean back and forth would take a whole new method than the usual 3 peice.

It's a champion, but not clean. There is a rod attached to the target.
