Nice modification beat me to it, I had got rid of the small paddle structure and not the weight beam. 10 pieces possible with extensive tweaks.

Great design, I was just going to post my almost 9 pcs lol, couldn't get that last boost. I would think that 9 is the lowest with this method

I take that back, using the map as a hold for the bottom wheel yields a good base. Making it 8pcs for 4ball if tweaking works out that is (painfully close)
