I would love if someone could find a practical use for this, or if this can be fine tuned to be made better and more efficient. I quite like this mechanism. Either way, I'd like to share my findings :)

this is the thing that pulled the sqaure out on that last solve of mine

It was nothing short of brilliant. Keeping the block there was awesome haha.

This next one is giving me issues. I get flip the block over but cant get it the whole way off or get the ball to roll over. The level is brilliant though. If by the weekend i can't get it i'll ask for someone else to help me out ha!

The level's already solved...I was just seeing if that mechanism had some other sort of practical implication.

Yes it does have practical implications- i made a couple retrievers with it but my game froze :S

ill edit this post with them soonish lol. one is stuck on saving right now.. i would not like rebuild it.. :/
rianmech like that could make the world go round. looks like my mocking keeps your designs sharp :P

well here's two screw the third nosave.
http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11673038 360 device- add some things and you'll be shiny :)
http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11673040 complex- tweak and customize that fool and you'll have something devilish. <---had wrong link (fixed)
you see the base for it right? so you can use it to build your own? lol or just find another base with it there are a few more i can see 3.
your awesomemech has more powered implications than not but you should try and find them yourself XD i see 4

The rianmech in that situation is pretty much unnecessary. I was originally gonna have a catapult on the end. But yes I can see that being a great idea for future, more tight, awkard uses.

Would love to see that on a retriever!!! I didn't think it could handle that much weight.

ed: rl, you my friend are ipecac :)

this is the closest I can get to getting the ball out.

Uses a little bit of the rianmech but the mechanism fails (which is intended)

http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11673577 here it takes the ball out of teh bump, but it stops because of the brown rod. When i try to repleace it w/h water the mecanism doesn't even get there D:
