We fought well... and lost on a tiebreaker of less than 100 mass.
This comp was great but I regret this final round was only a tiebreaker with almost one solve possible.

A medal!!!!

Martians everywhere are beaming with pride. After having been awarded a bronze medal in an earlier event and subsequently stripped (scores having been double-checked) We were crestfallen & heartbroken but not beaten. Good job to the other two Martians, 2Phun & JHawk4, and thanks for admitting me to the team!

(parading around with my Bronze) WOOHOO!!

WFT! Especially happy since with one quick tweak, I was able to get Duchy's design to one tick less than ours. Whew!

Damn that final round was close one!

I just tweaked our team's design to the rod connected to the rectangle and got 113 right away XD

Very fun comp!

I'm glad everyone loved the comp. I'll be the first to admit that some of the levels were a bit rough around the edges (as this is only my second comp), but I really tried my hardest to make it fun for everyone. I had a feeling this type of comp would get a lot of entrants (47 I think?) and I was hoping I wasn't getting in over my head... but there were some great events it looks like everyone had fun. So thank you all for enjoying the competition and for being so enthusiastic about it :). I enjoyed hosting!

Changing "back" to orange? Isn't orange a promotion from pink? And, yes, definitely, great fun with this comp :)

Whoa... at first I thought it was weird seeing your name in orange, not pink, but... blue? o.O

It was green for a while, although I don't think I can swing that again without a chat with weasel ;)

I think I prefer the orange :science:

Um, this might be an inappropriate place to ask but how do you get a pink/orange name anyway? It's something I never really found out about.

Orange name means you are a moderator, and have special privelages like editing other people's posts and locking topics, etc.

Pink names are the select few who were chosen to take part in the Fantastic Contraption Gold Beta and they have access to other sections of the forum (I think) where they discuss it and give feedback.
