Words don't cause me any pain. any time a person is offended by a word is ridiculous. say, if I said

Well, "brown" applies to a design made of both wood and water rods. If there was a "blue" badge, then there should also be another, different "brown" badge, considering that making a contraption of entirely wood rods presents its own challenges.

It's not what someone says, but why they say it. And, in this case, I didn't take that to be offensive, but rather an exclamation of surprise or amazement; the wonders of personal semantics.

green: no powered wheels
"rods" or "supergreen": only rods
"brown": only brown rods
"blue": only blue rods

Except that we're all pretty used to the current definition of "brown" so I suspect it's entrenched. So, perhaps:

wood badge: only wood rods

Good point. However, blue contraptions are manifestly more difficult than brown. In fact, I'd say there is a bigger difficulty increase from brown to blue than from green to brown.

The only problem is some levels are not possible as blue, but some levels are not possible as boomerangs or champions either, so it's not really an issue.
