Update: The wrong levelID was used on Friday for "Gate Keeper", it was a variant that allowed you to grab the goal object. This wasn't intentional. The new level does not allow you to grab the goal object. It shouldn't change your potential score with either level, but I will accept submissions from both. I will not, however, accept glitch-abusing submissions.

Levels arent that good. You really should have spent the time making decent contest levels instead of using the iphone levels. This really seems like you pulled this together at the last minute. Way to Half-*** it

Levels were designed, chosen, and tweaked months ago; and we wanted to showcase the new freely available levels too, so we had to pick from that pool. Sorry you don't enjoy them, but we tried to pick a selection of levels that required different types of thinking. Also, because the contest is open to the public, we wanted to make sure they were fairly straight forward and not too mind-bendingly difficult.

That said, yes, there probably was a wide variety of levels that I would have liked better. If this was my own personal contest, I would have chosen a variety of different levels. We want to leave something for future contests though

If you do make another contest (I hope you do), please make it for people of all ages, not just 18 and older. Also, make some new prizes (FC T-shirts, ect.). (I already have and iPod Touch BTW)
Edit: Also make it for paid users only. It would increase the chances of the guys that are commited to Fantastic Contraption by a whole lot. How would you feel if some random person who just discovered Fantastic Contraption won? (not that you can enter, lol) By the way, when are you going to fix that link issue?

Thats wat mine was too. I'm having some difficulties on the other ones though. Just trying to get them fine tuned so I can get a touch. Does any one know the odds of getting one of the ipods?

It's probably not wise to share your scores, as it will make people try extra hard to beat them.

The odds of winning an iPod depend on your skill level vs. the number of entrants.

These levels are all new to PC users.

Thats mainly the reason I want to see peoples scores is to see who I am up against. I know that I have some pretty good designs but I want to see how the competition matches up

Can you please clarify this? Are we or are we not allowed to grab the goal object for the purposes of the competition? I have excellent solutions with grabbing it and without, but the one where I grab it has a significantly better score, so I want to make sure I submit the correct one. Thanks!

I am new to the challenge scene so could someone please explain a few things to me. I completed one of the levels where the goal circle rolls out of the goal and the goes back into the goal and stays there forever. Does this disqualify me from the champion badge? Also what is a tick? I assume it is the number of seconds it takes to beat a level and if I understand the rules that means for each 100 ticks you get 3 points.
