The Incredibots Thread!

Hey guys, have any of you played Incredibots? I used to be hooked on Fantastic Contraption, but then I got bored so I started playing Incredibots! My username is No0b, and there is actually a thread in the Incredibots Forums about Fantastic Contraption, so I thought I'd do the same!

I'm sure I could've gotten into that game if I hadn't found this first, but I really prefer FC's simplicity

I briefly met incredibots dude at GDC. He started work on Incredibots before colin started work on FC. But Colin finished a bit faster, neither one of them knowing of each other at the time.

There was no stealing going on.

And if you want to toe that line about stealing, just look in our credits screen to see where we stole all our ideas from :P

There is no better one. You just pick which one you want to play.

FC: Simple, and limited pieces to get to the goal.
IB: Complex, and a variety of pieces to build with no goals.

They're almost completely opposite. Other than the fact that they are both physics games.

IB and FC both have their good parts I personally like IB just because you can do more with it. also you can for example make a map and give the user a car/bot thingee and he has to complete the level with it; which you cannot do with FC

also IB added alod of good things in IB2 like set gravity and dragable stuff

Incredibots and FC are similiar in some ways. They are physics games. They use shapes. They have the letter I in their names. They have forums. They have keys to chose different tools. They both have some sort of membership, like pay for something in the game. They both are awesome. You can make challenges in both.
You can make a Build Area in both. You can play both. They both have cool people with Green Usernames. They both have many users. Etc...

the green usernames are just cause it is also phpBB

and one reason I like it is its membership is almost nothing, meaning you can play 99% of it without paying

the green usernames are just cause it is also phpBB

I was sucking up to weasel. And I used to be a mod there. So I had a green name.

The membership is worth it. You get to play the BETA versions of the newest IB version before it comes out publicly.

Yea it is, but it to use for when im looking at the designIDs to know they are free levels or not.

Haha, I love Powder Game. I've been playing it since before super ball came out.

Now it's hard to upload your saves but still is awesome to mess around with.
