You can join at any time during the rest of the contraption football season. When you join, you will be given 100
's to bet with. You can bet on any number of matchups every week, with a minimum of 10 's per bet (and a maximum of the total number of 's in your account).Every week, everyone will be given an additional 50
bonus! That way, if you lose all your one week, don't worry, you can still make a comeback because there will be 50 's in your account to bet with the next week. NOTE - To receive the 50 bonus, you MUST be active the week before. That is, if you don't make any bets in week 4, you won't get 50 in week 5... you must at least make a minimum 10 bet to get the next bonus.If you are new to how compscure's football games work, what happens is that two people are paired up to play against each other. They play 3 different mini games against each other trying to earn points in different ways, and in the end, the one with the most points is the winner. You are here to bet on who the winner will be. There will be no point spreads (keeping it simple, at least for now), but there will be odds. Odds are determined only on past football results, i.e. a competitors W/L record.
Odds Example:
You will see something like this -
Compscure (-110) vs Jdelgado06 (+110)
the +110 by Jdelgado06 means that Jdelgado06 is the underdog and compscure is the favorite. If you bet 100
's on jdel to win, and jdel does win, then you win 110 's! On the other hand, you would have to bet 110 's on compscure to win 100 's if compscure ends up winning. And if you lose, well, you lose whatever you bet.For people that aren't familiar with odds and betting, read my post here
I'll apply a simple formula based on Win/Loss record to come up with the odds each week. I'll also keep a running tally of everyone's account and their betting record on this post.
