I'm your friendly neighborhood weasel, also "Andy Moore" as appears in the credits. I'm the new Sheriff in town [moderator] and pledge to keep the banhammer swinging if things get out of hand around these parts.
Pacifist asked me to drop you all a line. He posted a lengthy response to some bug and feature requests, which you might want to read to get an idea for the future of the game.
However, a new copy of the game was uploaded today!
Along with some back-end tweaks and some menu adjustments, the big feature with this new release is DISABLING THE WATER ANIMATION. If you find your contraptions start running slow on your PC, click the toggle button on the bottom left corner of the screen! (just above the mute button).
You might have to clear your browser cache to get the updated copy. Try hitting CTRL-F5 to force a refresh, or:
In FireFox3:
- Tools > Clear Private Data
- Select only the "Cache" option
- Click "Clear private data now"
In IE7:
- Tools > Delete Browsing History
- Click "Delete Files"
In IE6:
- Tools > Internet Options
- Click the "General" tab
- Click "Delete Files"
Also, for anyone new who never heard the original music - the loop was around 5 minutes long and was really cool, but had to be cut down due to bandwidth concerns. Pacifist is hoping to have a solution in place within a week; it might be that registered users get the full loop.
